Ownership of Content
All photos, videos, text, music selections, obituary information, and other materials uploaded to Eternity Slides remain the property of their respective owners.
Eternity Slides does not claim ownership of any content submitted by funeral homes, families, or authorized representatives.
Limited License to Process Content
By uploading content to Eternity Slides, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:
- Store uploaded content
- Process content within our platform
- Generate memorial slideshow videos
- Display content to authorized users
- Deliver completed memorial videos and related files
This license exists solely to provide the services requested by you and does not transfer ownership rights to Eternity Slides.
Funeral Home Content
When a funeral home uploads content on behalf of a family, the funeral home represents that it has received the necessary permissions and authority to submit and process the content.
Eternity Slides acts as a technology provider and processor of the content supplied by funeral homes and their clients.
Family Content
Families who directly upload photos, videos, and memorial information retain full ownership of their content.
Eternity Slides does not sell, license, or commercially exploit family-submitted memorial materials.
Artificial Intelligence and Automation
Eternity Slides may use automated technologies to assist with:
- Photo organization
- Slideshow generation
- Video creation
- Content enhancement
- Workflow automation
Uploaded content is processed solely for the purpose of providing requested services and improving platform functionality.
Eternity Slides does not use customer memorial content for advertising purposes.
Content Storage
Uploaded content may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by trusted third-party providers.
Reasonable safeguards are implemented to protect content from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Content Retention
Content is retained only for as long as necessary to:
- Provide requested services
- Maintain customer access
- Meet legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
Retention periods may vary depending on subscription plans, customer settings, or business requirements.
Content Deletion
Customers may request deletion of their content by contacting our support team.
Upon verified request and subject to legal or operational requirements, Eternity Slides will permanently remove applicable content from active systems within a reasonable timeframe.
Backup systems may retain copies for a limited period before automatic deletion.
Content Sharing
Eternity Slides does not sell uploaded content.
Content may only be shared:
- With authorized users designated by the customer
- With service providers necessary to operate the platform
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect the security and integrity of our services
Copyright Compliance
Users are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations for all uploaded materials.
